The deejay, who is known for songs like Party Shot and Ravin, will be thrilling fans in Portugal, France, Sweden, and Switzerland, just to name a few. This will mark his third European tour, having previously travelled with the Portmore Empire. This tour, however, is the artiste's first in Europe as a solo act and headline artiste.
On his return from Europe, the deejay will be busy performing at the St Kitts Music Festival, a special performance at Smudge on July 1, Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay, and Dream Weekend in Negril. He has also been busy in studio with new summer anthems such as When Mi Party (TJ Records), Coolie Gal (UIM), Bad Mind (007 Records), and The System (Dre Skull).
Fans will not be disappointed as the deejay has more songs, such as Popcaan Says (TJ Records) and Whine Up(YVP) to be released soon.
Fans can also expect two new music videos - one for his recently released conscious song The System from New York-based producer Dre Skull. The video was shot recently in Waterhouse, Kingston, by US-based director Dayo.
Dayo has worked with the likes of Young Money, DJ Khaled, and Quincy Jones.
Popcaan will also be doing a video medley of his 'girl songs' including: She A Gwaan Good, Naughty Girl, Whine Up, and Popcaan Says on Saturday, June 9. The deejay also released a viral music video for his fans on his official YouTube channel for the song Fry Yiy, which is growing rapidly in hits since its release on the weekend.
On the radar for the artiste is his birthday party titled 'Party Shot: Birthday Celebration' to be held at D'Entrance, 78 Constant Spring Road, on July 14. The event is being sponsored by Smirnoff and Boom Energy Drink and will feature surprise guest performances.
