On the heels of the success of his 'Gal Siddung' collaboration with Konshens, dancehall artiste Darrio has secured a spot on an upcoming reality TV series, Stars Among Stars Reality Challenge, that will be aired on MDTV in a matter of weeks.
Producer, creator and host of the show, Alici-Ann Roxborough, says the idea for the show came out of a joke she had with a few artistes including Darrio. Essentially, she says 10 women will compete in an oil wrestling competition that was scheduled to take place yesterday at Dumpa Truck Sundays, which is held off Mandela Highway.

Popular radio disc jockey ZJ Wah Wa has reportedly decided to split from Darkcide International, his management company.
The 22-year-old is said to have worked with the company for four years. However, according to the release, Wah Wa has had it with manager Raymond 'Shadow' Small, and is now ready to handle the affairs of his career personally.
The former Calabar High student is said to have left due to a breakdown in communication between himself and Small. It is also alleged that the two failed to reach an agreement for a new deal, which would see Small earning less than he previously earned.
"I am no longer a part of Darkcide International. They will no longer take care of my affairs as it relates to bookings, public relations and management. I am treading new pastures," said the radio disc jock, who was christened Deon-Ville O'Hara.
Despite this, whatever projects that the two were working on prior to the fallout will still be completed under the Darckcide International brand. The latest project, which is expected to be released soon, is the Mad Panorama rhythm, which features Konshens, Flippa Mogela, RDX, Navino, Ryno, Ninja Kid and Lincoln. "Anything we had produced will remain the same percentage wise," he said.
When contacted Small acknowledged the split with the DJ. "He is not part of Darkcide International anymore. We wish him all the best," he said.
In the meantime, according to the release Wah Wa, who is the promoter of Guinness Hamma Fridaze, will take care of his bookings along with Stacy Cowen, while his public relations will be handled by Roxroy McLean.

Reggae artiste Richie Stephens has collaborated with reggae/dancehall artiste Konshens to record a gospel single called The Lord's Prayer.
The single is produced by legendary producer Danny Brownie on the Pot Of Gold label and according to Stephens, the song was inspired by the experience of losing his son, dancehall artiste Copper Cat. "The inspiration behind this song is concerned with a time in life when you just have to reflect, it was influenced by the passing of my son. He died violently and people would resort to violence in form of retaliation, but instead of that I decided to put it in the Father's hand so I decided to do some songs saying the same thing," Richie Stephens said. Stephens said the Lord's prayer is one of the most powerful messages in the Bible and due to the religious background of Jamaica, the single is welcomed even in the hard core dancehall.
" The response to the song is more than I expected, it has become an instant play and everybody love it, because as Jamaicans we are very God fearing so they are attracted to it. Recently it was played in Weddy Weddy and it got about seven pull ups," he revealed. Richie Stephens also had high regard for fellow entertainer Konshens who featured on the song.
"Konshens has more than just popularity, he has the character because he is a clean artiste in terms of the way he lives his life and this is the basis on which I asked him to do this song," he said. Richie Stephens is gearing up to release a gospel album called God Is On My Side, this year, while Konshens who was being featured on his first gospel song, expressed that he was grateful for the collaboration with a reggae music icon.
"Richie Stephens is an icon in reggae music and regardless of the type of song we collaborated on, it is a pleasure and privilege. I have done song acknowledging God already but this is the first one that could actually be played in a Christian gospel environment," Konshens said. Richie Stephens is busy promoting his follow-up collaboration with German reggae artiste Warrior, the two are also aiming to release a collaboration album called Live Your Life.
In the meantime, Konshens is enjoying his current popularity in the dancehall sphere releasing singles such as Si Mi Ya, Don't Diss Mama and Move To Dem featuring Ward 21 deejay Suku.
Dancehall artiste Konshens has released his first clothing line called 'Oh-K'. The line was designed for a female market and is already being sold in local stores.
According to Konshens, his decision to create a clothing line exclusively for females is because he believes he has a very strong female fan base.
"Females are my strongest fan base, they show me a lot of support so this is giving back to them. I don't really have a style so I cannot decide what men must wear, but I know what I want to see females wearing, so that's why I decided to go female," he said.
While the 'oh' may sound similar to a particular dancehall product called 'OH', Konshens explained that the name of his clothing line both represents his name and an element of surprise.
"Oh-K is a female-based clothing line and I chose that name because I think it is very catchy which also bears an element of surprise. Females will also be surprised to see how good the clothing is and the K also means Konshens," he said.
According to the Gyal A Bubble singer, he is directly involved in the design process based on inspiration from his hit songs.
"All of the designs are inspired by my songs and I have an input based on that. For example, the clothes that are already out are styled from songs like Pretty Devil and Bad Nuh BC of which Bad Nuh BC is the top seller," he laughed.
Konshens is gearing up to release the Gyal A Bubble edition of the 'Oh-K' line and he also holds the view that entrepreneurship is a venture that people should subscribe to.
"If you have a pulling power, being an entrepreneur is a smarter way, we have to learn how to maximise profit and it's not only as an artiste but for everybody and as it relates to the career aspect, it doesn't hurt, it only helps to broaden your fan base," he said.
Persons who want to purchase Oh-K clothing can find them at Honey Fashion at Constant Spring Road, Di Trends at Clock Tower Plaza, Fashion Addiction at Eastwood Park Road and Tashamay's Fashion on Constant Spring road among others.
Konshens' recent album Mental Maintenance is currently number one in Japan and number five on itunes.
The artiste is also now promoting new singles such as Money Up produced by 12-12, Bun Station, and Suh Mi Tan.
